meAboutus provides a platform for Candidates to
submit their professional profiles and resumes,
making them accessible to Recruiters and
Companies seeking talent.
All candidate profiles and resumes are subject
to review by meAboutus to ensure platform
integrity and adherence to these terms.
meAboutus reserves the right to reject, edit, or
remove any candidate profile or resume that
violates our internal guidelines or is deemed
unsuitable for the platform.
2. Candidate Profile and Resume Guidelines
Candidate profiles and resumes should provide
accurate, current, and truthful information
about the candidate's professional experience,
skills, and career aspirations.
Candidate profiles and resumes must not include
discriminatory content, inappropriate language,
or any information that violates applicable laws
or ethical standards. While we respect freedom
of expression, meAboutus reserves the right to
remove profiles containing content deemed
offensive, harmful, or irrelevant to
professional networking.
3. Intellectual Property
Candidate Content: Candidates retain the
intellectual property rights to the content of
their profiles and resumes. By submitting a
profile and resume, candidates grant meAboutus a
non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license
to store, process, display, make searchable, and
distribute the profile and resume on the
platform to Recruiters and Companies registered
with meAboutus. This license is essential for
the platform to function and provide its
services.
4. AI-Driven Candidate Matching and Platform
Functionality
meAboutus utilizes an AI-driven Resume Analysis
and Candidate Matching system to facilitate
connections between Candidates and
Recruiters/Companies. This system analyzes
candidate profiles and resumes to assist
Recruiters in identifying potentially suitable
candidates.
Platform Purpose: meAboutus's platform serves as
a conduit for Candidates to make their
professional information available to Recruiters
and Companies and for Recruiters and Companies
to find potential candidates. meAboutus does not
guarantee job placements, interviews, or any
specific hiring outcomes.
Disclaimer of Warranties: meAboutus disclaims
all warranties, express or implied, regarding
the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of
candidate profiles and resumes, the
effectiveness of the AI-driven matching system,
or the overall functionality and availability of
the platform. The platform is provided "as is"
and "as available."
Limitation of Liability: meAboutus is not
responsible for the interactions,
communications, or outcomes resulting from
connections made through the platform. This
includes, but is not limited to, the hiring
process, employment terms, or any disputes
between Candidates and Recruiters/Companies.
meAboutus is not liable for any indirect,
consequential, or incidental damages arising out
of or in connection with the use of the
platform. Recruiters and Companies are solely
responsible for conducting their own due
diligence on candidates, and Candidates are
responsible for the accuracy of their own
profiles.
5. Company Branded Job Boards
meAboutus offers companies the option to
integrate Company Branded Job Boards into their
own websites, powered by meAboutus technology.
Candidates who apply through these Company
Branded Job Boards will have their applications
processed and may also, at meAboutus's
discretion and in accordance with our Privacy
Policy, be added to the general candidate pool
searchable by other Recruiters and Companies on
the meAboutus platform.
Companies are responsible for the content and
compliance of their Company Branded Job Board
postings with all applicable employment and
privacy laws. meAboutus is not responsible for
the content of Company Branded Job Boards.
6. Compliance with Laws
Recruiters and Companies are responsible for
ensuring that their use of the platform and
their hiring practices comply with all
applicable employment and privacy laws.
meAboutus will cooperate with legal authorities
in case of any violation of laws.
Users are expected to comply with all local,
national, and international laws and regulations
in their use of the platform.
7. User Conduct
Users are prohibited from engaging in any
conduct that may disrupt or interfere with the
proper functioning of the platform.
Any abusive, threatening, or harmful behavior
towards other users or meAboutus staff is
strictly prohibited.
meAboutus has the right to suspend or terminate
the accounts of users who violate these terms
and conditions.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
meAboutus collects and processes personal data
in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Candidate Data Visibility: Candidates
acknowledge and agree that by submitting their
profile and resume to meAboutus, their
professional information, including but not
limited to their name, contact details, current
and past organizations, work experience, skills,
and other professional details included in their
profile and resume, will be made accessible and
searchable by Recruiters and Companies
registered on the meAboutus platform. While
meAboutus employs security measures, Candidates
understand that they are making their
professional information broadly available
within the platform ecosystem for recruitment
purposes.
9. Security
meAboutus employs reasonable security measures
to protect the integrity and confidentiality of
user data.
Users are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of their login credentials.
10. Modifications and Updates
meAboutus reserves the right to modify or update
these terms and conditions at any time.
Users will be notified of any significant
changes through the platform.
Continued use of the platform after
modifications constitutes acceptance of the
updated terms.
11. Termination of Candidate Profiles and
Company Access
meAboutus may, at its discretion, terminate or
remove candidate profiles or restrict Company
access to the platform.
Candidates and Companies can request the removal
of their profiles or account termination by
contacting meAboutus.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of
Pondicherry, India.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection
with these terms shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in
Pondicherry, India.
